Oblique Research Robotics Lab

WEB FIRST · BIG SCREEN NEXT

Take the lab
into the room.

The web lab is live. Apple TV turns it into a lean-back presentation for meetups, demos, and sales meetings. Vision Pro capture is next.

The backyard lab, on the big screen.

Use a Siri Remote to present seven backyard scenarios, explore the scene, and replay recorded robot-policy trials with their real outcomes. Designed for meetups, demonstrations, and sales conversations.

Native Apple TV development preview showing the backyard model and recorded MuJoCo trial controls

Native Apple TV development capture; the screenshot shows an earlier title. Scripted scenes and recorded MuJoCo trials play locally on Apple TV. There is no live physics or robot control. Robot design: Menlo Research’s Asimov 1; learned trials use Ma-Dan’s community checkpoint.

TestFlight in preparation

There is no public invite yet. This page will link to the approved external build when testing opens.

Oblique Teleop iconEgo capture & teleoperation

Practice a pickup from the robot’s perspective, record head and hand motion, and compare hands with different grippers. Built toward repeatable capture → replay → evaluate loops.

Vision Pro simulator preview with a virtual gripper, cube and basket, labeled synthetic QA

Actual Library Teleop simulator capture with synthetic input, in Apple’s sample room. Built on Younghyo Park / Improbable-AI’s VisionProTeleop protocol. This is not a recording of a person using hand tracking or of the captured library.

Development preview

Motion capture records head/hand poses and task state. Raw camera video, dexterous-hand physics and hardware teleoperation are separate, unfinished capabilities.
